So here’s what has me thrown about Cory; aka: Jane’s (Monterey Bay Aquarium colleague / self-diagnosed - spectrum-straddling) love interest... between Cory’s curly hair — which instantly brings me back to the ziggy-esque - supposedly - young Perry photos that Mary Louise recently showed Jane — plus a clear similarity to ziggy’s personality, I am starting to suspect that this season’s twist has placed Cory in Monterrey for drastically different, but eerily parallel reasons to Jane in season 1...

Long story, spoiler prediction short: Cory is Ziggy and the Twins’ half brother, and Cory is in Monterrey now seeking his birth father.

Where I’m not sure how the story will go: Cory is there knowing that the “Monterrey 5” are responsible for the death of the father he never knew and is now seeking answers and/or revenge? Or did he get here, going in as blind as Jane in season 1? ...only 3 eps to go, so I’m banking on the former (bc: drama).

Can't wait to see more of Celeste's backstory. Why is she no longer in contact with her family/parents? What happened in her childhood that she took this abuse from Perry. Celeste is emotionally unstable - What happened in her childhood/background that made her this unstable? Meryl Streep's character - how did her other child die? Was Perry also violent as a child and accidentally killed his brother and his mom is in denial. Is that why her husband left? It seems that when Meryl Streep's husband completely severed his relationship with both his wife and Perry. So many possibilities! I can't wait to see what happens.

Omg I would definitely confront my in-law! Mary-Louise is SO intrusive & it's none of her business! You guys are like 30 something years younger than me so I think as you get older, you tend to be more 'tell it like it is'. lol

As far as outfits at the party - I liked Ed's leisure suit. I haven't seen one of those in years. Where in the world did he get that?

I don't know why Madeline just expects Ed to immediately forgive her. She needs to give him time. I understand it's frustrating to not know exactly what he's thinking and what he's going to do, but she needs to understand that she caused this, she caused him to distrust her. She disrupted their marriage and now she's mad that he won't make up his mind. She needs to give him time to figure out what he wants.

I don’t think Ranada was beating herself up at all. She’s too self involved to think anything is her fault. She won’t even accept that she’s manic and she’s part the fault her daughter has anxiety. She was being super sarcastic and passive aggressive to Gordon during her monologue not beating herself up

Mary Louis is off. Something is wrong with her. I wonder if she is the reason Perry was the way he was. Or if she at least indirectly enabled him. It speaks volumes that she’s defends her sons bad actions and blames the women. She could not get near my son with the way Perry turned out and the fact that she defends it. And when Mary Louis’s glasses flew off I died! I’m actually giggling right now thinking about it

I'm pretty sure Mary Louise is going to find out that Bonnie killed Perry and drown her.

No spoiler alert necessary because I don't know the story but I even wonder if Cory isn't undercover for law enforcement. The awkward way the relationship started seemed too constructed with him bumping into Jane all the time. And Celeste was an idiot bringing a guy home so soon after her husband's death. Got to spend $200 and get a room to be safe on that one.

To be a lawyer Celeste is very naive or something.. I don't want to call her stupid Why isn't she questioning where parry got this violence from..I mean I know she see her kids acting out because of their dad sooo...

Not to defend Renata, who's pretty obnoxious, but the "self-made" comment was in response to the bankruptcy judge/mediator asking if either she or Gordon were expecting any inheritance. Renata's arrogance would be more clear if there was a scene where their attorney told her to dress down and not wear any jewelry.
