As long as the 1TB storage option is unaffected, I can deal with reduced availability- so long as I get mine.

They need to keep this iPhone the price as the others then increase it next year. They aren’t giving a big enough upgrade for a higher price

As long as the mini either stays or lower it’s price, it’s all gud

Remember when the XR was $750 new, then the much improved 11 came out for $700? Well they raised the price of the 12 because of the new design. I’m guessing they were planning to cut the price of the 13 like they did the 11 when it came out vs. the XR. I would call it a wash then. Even with a price increase, the more streamlined production of the 13 will put it at the same price as 12.

Apple planned for 90 millions units of the iPhone 13 without considering supply chain issues and pricing? Digitimes barely 60% accurate, not much better than a coin flip.

I prefer seeing your face I. The thumb nail so I know immediately is you, there’s so many Apple news out there and I always like watching yours first.

Can’t imagine this price rise will effect the 13, it’s obviously in production already so price negotiations would have happened months ago. Doubt TSMC would be able to change prices during production.

I think that they could get away with increasing the prices as long as it is not too ridiculous.

I think a price increase is fairly unacceptable right now; it's terrible timing that could lead to a PR nightmare and Apple just went through one with the photo scan story

Have you heard of the super smash bros ultimate “grinch leak”
That thing had more lore behind it than Lord of the Rings and turned out to be fake

I’ve had apple since the iPhone 3g, and I’m about done with apple, higher prices but such little changes and less comes with the phone as well? What the hell am I paying for at this point. Just annoyed at this point.

More likely I imagine apple will increase only upper tier storage so the Pros and the 13 main line would stay the same starting prices.

Does anyone else hate the round edges on the iPhone 11 and it’s predecessors?

If price goes up I will not upgrade. Mine is only 2 years old.

They should go up no matter what. Inflation.. the problem is pricing another $19 on their marketing with numbers ( $999 or whatever it is ) $1018 doesn’t sounds right to advertise at..

I’m either going to go with the 13 mini or the 13 Pro. I’m so tired of the 12 pro max size

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the 13 and 13 mini will have a price increase for the 512 GB, to make up for the cost. With the 13 pro and pro max, having a price increase on the 512 and 1 TB for the pro and 1 TB for the pro max. For example, 13 mini starting at $700 for 128, $750 for 256, and $850 for 512; with 13 being $50 more for each. With the 13 pros 128 starting at $1000, 256 at $1150, 512 at $1300, and 1 TB at 1500; with the pro max being $1100 for 128, $1250 for 256, $1400 for 512 and $1600-$1700 for 1 TB.

So essentially having the 128 and 256 be the “consumer” market, with the probability of that customer base having or will get Cloud storage, 200 GB is $2.99 a month, so constant monthly income. Then have the 512 and 1 TB being the “professional” market.
