The Most UNDERRATED Carnivore From The Jurassic World Movies

The Jurassic World movies really underutilized the Carnotaurus even after giving it a seriously cool design and having it get attacked by the T.rex. For some reason the animal never really got used properly. Even after the Michael Crichton novel made it out to be a camouflaging monster in some great scenes towards the end of the book. Maybe Rebirth or another movie can fix that but so far it really hasn’t been done justice.

The most underrated Dino has to be the waterfall snake from the lost world.😂

Ceratosaurus and Carnotaurus: Why do we exist? Just to be Underdogs?

T-Rex and Allosaurus:
You exist just to suffer

The fact they gave giant bugs more screen time than a dinosaur makes me irrationally angry.

Dude Carno in Disneys Dinosaur was terrifying which is why I loved it as a child and is still my favorite Dino today

Its only underrated because Kingdom made it look like a mini T-Rex that can't compare to the authentic T-Rex

The Carnotaurus is an awesome villain in Disney's DINOSAUR. They made the dinosaur as big as the Jurassic Park T-Rex, 15 ft tall and 40 ft long! The reason why it was so much larger than it's real life counterpart is because Disney couldn't afford the rights to use the Rex in the movie.

Dinosaurs in general need to be shown how truly terrifying these creatures truly are. T-Rex as an absolute tank and a monster, Carnataurus with its camouflage ability, etc. I just want dinosaurs to be scary again and really show how much tension these beasts can get if done right. Maybe even implement more novel details the movies never got to bring in. I want this franchise to be good again. Not campy like the world films

Thank you, Klayton, for giving the Carno some love.
As a kid who had already read the books, I remember being so disappointed Crichton's Carno wasn't in JP3.
Years later we get Jurassic World, and when I seen Indominus had Carno's camo technique, I was irritated.
Then we get the Fallen Kingdom scene where Carno gets snubbed by Rex.

The magnificent design Crichton had for Carno was entirely wasted. =(

Thank you for bringing up the worker village scene. That brings back some memories. It would be so simple to adapt those scenes into an urban environment, one where humans are driven away from the 'new normal' by 'abnormal assets', dinosaurs stalking through empty streets with people only occasionally coming back to confront them head on using whatever ammo they happen to have, think end of "FK" meets "Big Rock."

Carno has been my favorite Dino since I was a kid in the 80's! I remember when it was discovered and how awesome it looked. While everyone was getting their jollies off on T Rex, I was all in on Carno. I remember reading about them in The Lost World and thinking how amazing they were. So yeah, for me as a Carno fan and a JP fan I've always been let down by the movies to see my favorite dinosaur.

Amazing Video of the Carnotaurus being the most the Carnotaurus being the most underrated dinosaurs in the Jurassic Franchise and I pretty much agree with you big time and I love how it made its appearance in the Jurassic Franchise especially Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and Camp Cretaceous and I also agree that the Carnotaurus deserves more spotlight in the Jurassic Franchise because of how amazing it really is especially in the Lost World Novel, Fallen Kingdom and Camp Cretaceous.
Great Work Klayton Fioriti and as always, Take It Easy and Life Finds A Way.

You had me at "Carnotaurus". Seriously though, I love Carnotaurus as much as any dino fan. I hope it gets some more importance and/or prominence as time goes on. Thank you for this video! :)

When you said at the start about a dinosaur that was done dirty. I had a few ideas but when you said Micheal Criton I instantly knew you meant the Carno's from the second novel before you said it. Great scene with Thorne. :D

It just looked like a punching bag in fallen kingdom and a pet dog in camp cretaceous season 5, definitely needs to be brought back to its lost world roots.

I am a huge lover for anything Carnotaurus.
Ironic how the Carno/Rex dynamic shifted in the novels and movies. Like you said in the lost world novel the rexs are afraid of the carnos territory. Now jump ahead to fallen kingdom where the carno is Rexy's punching bag in 80% of its scenes.

"Dinosaur" is the reason why I fell in love with the Carno, despite their villainous roles. Have still been waiting, like you and so many others I imagine, for it to have a deservedly bigger role in the Jurassic film universe.

Something about the noise this thing made in the TLW rail-shooter was beyond chilling. I remember feeling like I needed to run physically in the arcade lol.

Bruh, Triceratops seriously mostly had no major roles in the film series, the crew didn’t even have it make a physical appearance in the only 2 TV shows. They had no business doing that, of course, it hadn’t made an appearance in the show, chaos theory so far. Otherwise, it’s great that you used footage from dinosaur in the video. That movie’s criminally underrated.
