I wish Vegas would adopt this all inclusive approach. We ended up walking a few times from downtown because of the high cost of taxis. It isn't too long, but it is hard to walk on the sand. The Riu next door is cheaper, but so is the quality of the food. The food is so good in Cabo, I'm not sure if any all inclusive there can compare.

I couldn't wait, diving in now! Place looks incredible and like a full time party. I'm heading to Cabo on a cruise next week and I have to get excited for this thing. I will say that we are going to get a group for this place and go and rip it. I can't wait.

Update*: All I can say is WOW!! I just contacted my friends and trying to get something planned for a great stay with some quality friends at this location. Thank you for this as this could be the elixir I was looking for. Punta Cana was going to be a stretch, but we have Cabo RIU to frequent so why not!

Currently at RIU Palace Baja California and was going to Krystal since I thought there was full access. Was told no at the front of the restaurant because my hotel was at RIU Palace Baja California and not RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas. Apparently you are only allowed access to the Buffets on property. Not sure what was up with that.

Hey James, I’m here at the Riu palace right now and you were absolutely spot on with everything you said! This is by far the best Riu that I’ve been to and it’s not even close. The food has been more than exceptional, drinks have been strong when implied, and the people here are great! Me and my buddies had a great time mingling with everyone. And the beach is awesome! And downtown I will definitely be returning here later this year.
