What a fascinating, tragic and bittersweet ending this was. It was lovely that her grandmother found happiness and it was tragic that her children never saw their mother again. Now I want to learn about her maternal grandfather’s lineage.

I didnt know my grandmother's age until she went into the nursing home (born 1912.) She had secrets from her past too i think - but that generation of women also just didnt tell their age, it was a vanity thing I think.

So Anita was really 77 when she died. I wonder why she lied about her age again. She was married in 1949, at the age of 42 but according to her death date, 36 years. OR she didn't lie, it was a typo/mistake or husband wasn't sure? Interesting can't find Anita's death records or any marriage for her or Dominic Florentino. I'm glad she had was in a long marriage at the end.
