I can't remember where, but I read an article about how short videos like TikToks and YouTube shorts are decreasing people's attention span at an incredible rate. The general idea was that people are now getting small, action-packed clips in 60-second bursts rather than in a 10+ minute video. This has caused people's focus to drop after those 60 seconds as they haven't got what they wanted yet. Essentially, people are losing the ability to focus for long periods of time due to the vast amount of content they're consuming in a short amount of time.
