NBA Draft Junkies International Prospects | Victor Wembanyama Scouting Report

In today's video I'll breakdown film on the most hyped international prospect since Luka Doncic. Although he’s not eligible for the draft until 2023, all the hype surrounding France’s Victor Wembanyama is legit. Wembanyama is a special talent, and I don’t like to use the word special loosely.

victor is so dominant that i actually feel badly for the players he's playing against in his footage. if he continues developing (especially his jumper) i dont see any scenario where he is not the first name off the board in 2023. to me, it seems like his FLOOR is prime KP. that's insane to think about.

Wembanyama is an elite player. He's the rare C who can space the floor, protect the rim, block shots, rebound, and is a great athlete. That's a terrific combination and he stands at a towering 7'3.

Assuming things do not change significantly between now and 2023, I feel his best NBA fit would be with the New Orleans Pelicans. Him paired with Zion is as complementary a frontcourt duo you could get with Zion's breakneck speed and uptempo slashing style of play coupled with Wembanyama's shooting, shot-blocking, and rim-protection. That would be a treat to watch and that frontcourt would be unstoppable and deadly if Wembanyama can somehow make his way to New Orleans.

His talent is ridiculous. He can block small guards in 1 on 1 defense from 3pt line. Also, I remember he shot 9/9 FTs in the FIBA u19 final. If he had no foul trouble, he would destroy the USA team.
Obviously, Even Chet cannot stop him in the paint.
Wembanyama might be modern Jabbar. Hope~ The big man era is back
