AES is cool, but this is the real arcade made into a console, and for this price, thats a steal, and with the 4.0 bios and all the extras, bought one right away, cant wait to test it with my scaler.

There are complete Neo-Geo gerber files available for having reproduction PCBs made by JLCPCB or PCBWay or whoever so you can make a brand "new" Neo-Geo PCB as long as you have a non working donor with working custom chips and have the skill to populate it. You can even have the passive components populated when it's made for a pretty reasonable cost.

This is actually really dope. It looks exactly like an AES. I really want one of these in my collection now. I doubt there are any MVS multi carts that look like AES carts. Are there?

I got one last year for 200 bucks. Love the device. And comes with the newest unibios, even tho the description says it's an older revision.

I recommend going with the Omega MVS, made in the good old USA. The CMVS Ultra from the Beharbros is also great. I own both the Omega and CMVS Ultra.

Curious if you tested the 8bitdo neo Geo controllers directly through the USB controller ports on the console with the included dongle. That would be amazing it they worked out of the box.

Looks great. I wanted an AES, but now I want 1 of these. I was tempted to build my own MVS consolise it, but this looks great and i love the AES look and feel.

I REALLY love the Neo Geo kits where the shell resembles the AES, but all those always have lack luster video output. I currently got the Open MVS, and the video quality is perfect.

Really wish there was a better option for what I am looking for, or an AES style case for the Open MVS circuits.

The shallow controller port is better. Allows you to use regular db15 2 row adapters to easily connect to an arcade control panel.

The regular deep Neo Geo controller ports are only good for original Neo Geo joysticks which would cost more than this MVS console at this point.

Regular DB15 adapters don't fit in the Neo controller ports properly. They just fall out.
