Well San Marino, while indeed old, was actually created in 1291 (recognised only by the Holy See) and became internationally recognised in 1815, during the Vienna Congress, the 301 AD indipendence date is actually just a simbolic one, but not an actual one

Actually San Marino does have an airport (not on his own land) which is in Rimini. It does have an landstrip on grass on his territory, but for general aviation only

San Marino official name is "The Serene Republic of San Marino". Not gonna lie, that name fits perfectly with the country itself.... Because San Marino is located on a mountain.... Or maybe a hills
