I live in Southern California and have a background in basic science. My parents, who have never had AC before, have just installed a new AC unit and were unsure about why I implored them to run it EARLIER in the day. They thought it worked like a fan and said "we shouldn't turn it on until the house gets hot!" Trying to save on energy bills, didn't know about the humidity factor, nor the mechanisms that keep it cool all day...despite my explanations. This video did the work for me. Now they are running at full efficiency. Thanks!!!!

Does the fan on the condensor unit blow up the hot air since it seems to be exchanged here in the condensor coils? Essentially expelling heat from the coils?
