Michael Jackson - Give In to Me (Slash Guitar Cover)
Показать описание
Dangerous is a very interesting album, which I do like, but it's certainly a departure from the Quincy produced records from before. We maybe get a less polished, less 'hooky' album but it gives us tracks like this one. Very raw sounding, cold but full of Michael's emotion, I feel. His voice wavers a little, almost to the point of being out of tune but it works and it hits you differently. Slash's guitar work on this track does similar, some bends going flat but it works great! And I think it's intentional, or at least intentionally left in, because he also shows some incredible technical flare too. Really difficult to learn and play but it's given me new appreciation to both artists. Also, it's favourable that Slash is tuned to standard on this as opposed to Eb on the GnR stuff. Hope you enjoy!
I use a Charvel DK24 into a Boss Me50 (where I get my tone), into a Palmer Pdi-09 (which simulated a mic'd up cab) into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X (where I add a little EQ and Reverb).

My headphones are purposely like that so they stay out of the way. The cable is very long.
