i think it exists stemming from movement. we used to be rat like animals who moved which then became smart enough to the point where we developed language and the use of tools

There isnt really a need for consiousness for senses to have complex responses. AI works that way but arent conscious.

P-zombies would kinda work the same way if not more efficiently.
