The way Anikin screams in the end "I have a family" with utter joy in his voice hits deep when you think how happy he would be if this had been the real ending. Instead he was a tortured soul till the very end who suffered so much that he eventually became a source of pain for the whole universe

Imagine if they had actually filmed the "Anakin with his family on Naboo" scene, and then used it as a hallucination that Anakin was having on the operating table on Coruscant before he gets sealed into the Vader suit.
