Chef Laurence Jossel and his team opened the renowned NOPA restaurant in San Francisco, California more than ten years ago. NOPA has come to define an entire neighborhood and a style of rustic, yet refined California cuisine and top-notch cocktails and wines. After the shuttering of all dining rooms in the state, Laurence and his wife persist in keeping the kitchen open to not only sustain and hire back as many staff members that they can accommodate, but also to sustain their community around them through meal donations. Though he fears he may not ever get back to the way that it was at NOPA, he looks forward to the day they can reopen with a better, leaner program and an awesome takeout service.

In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, we want to help YOU, the restaurateurs and small business owners. We created the #Cheetah4You documentary series to give the service industry a voice, featuring restaurant owners who are trying to survive. It features personal perspectives, sacrifices, and recommendations for others fighting to keep their doors open. It’s our goal at Cheetah to bring awareness to the struggles, tough decisions, and perseverance of those determined to continue operating and surviving during this time. Please share these stories with the hashtag #Cheetah4You to help us raise awareness.

Cheetah is an e-commerce platform designed for independent restaurant and small business owners to order wholesale food and supplies for next-day delivery. Due to high consumer demand for groceries and supplies during the COVID-19 crisis , and the unfortunate closure of many restaurants, Cheetah has opened up its wholesale services and facilities to give local communities access to the supplies they need. Cheetah has turned its refrigerated trucks into mobile fulfillment centers whereby consumers can place their order through the Cheetah mobile app and pick it up from the truck, which will be parked at multiple designated will call locations in the Bay Area. Founded in 2015 by Na'ama Moran, Christopher Elliott, Alon Har-Tal and Vincent Matranga, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Israel.
