I highly agree with you about the location to the aft pool. We had a cabin on the deck 14 aft and loved it for the same positive reasons you gave. Just had to be aware of the vibrations everytime the ship is docking and dragging of deck/buffet chairs above.
About your beds. I wonder if you could have switch mattresses with the bunk beds. I would assume those mattress have been used less. Also, we usually split the beds, not keep them together. It gave us more floor space and less chances of whacking your head every time you get off the bed. Also, splitting the beds less chance of hitting those light switches.
The closet/storage location, wife and I love it. On the new Sun, the closet/storage are along the wall now, similar to most other cruise ships. CP's closet location is soooo much better.
I wonder if a night light in the bathroom would have helped the very dark cabin.

Wow! 60 days in an inside cabin, you’re brave! I’m headed on her next week July 12th in a mini suite (16 nite Cornish, ireland, Iceland Scotland). I don’t usually buy this but the price on this cruise kept falling & falling. I did 3 rebooks with lower prices each time. I don’t expect much as she’s older outdated ship, just hoping to avoid foul odors. A comfortable ride at a great price $2, 000 each. I am platinum on Princess & the food & service on 8 different ships has always been good.

There is a US outlet behind the tv! Also we had cabin r750 and husband feel on deck and fractured his ribs and he had a horrible time getting out of the bed! Love love the location tho!

Put the pillows at the other end of the bed and you won't flash the lights. More useful advice will be available from Claudio

Be positive, you have two option beds to switch if you don’t like the main bed.🤣
