F1 2011 sound R31

@AlcholicAlienRogerAD ; Yes, so while the braking there's of course down shifting; thus the noise from the front facing exhaust. I've been at races this year, and it's truly amazing to hear it in person.

@TheEnemyac130above They blow exhaust gas into the diffuser to provide downforce. the sound is the engine opening and closing throttle to make this gas.

yeah its for downforce, even off throttle it still expels exhaust gas out the rear, usually done so that they can direct the exhaust gas/air flow from the exhaust into the rear from the under the car making more downforce. redbull is now doing this.

have you ever heard them in real life ? videos on youtube and watching the GP on tv doesn't do justice to the sound. When I went to my first GP I couldn't believe it :S how amazing and loud and I am talking about the v8. The v10 must have been even louder. I think people that keep saying v8 sound sucks blablabla, never gone to a GP, belive you me, they would not be saying that if they did.
