basically if want to find how does a Note 7 explode you have to use direct heat. what your doing is like wrapping an ice in a aluminum tin foil and put it in the microwave, the ice doesn't melt. the aluminum foil around the battery protected the battery itself from the microwave!

I'm so PISSED. Costco told me they'd have my Note 7 replacement today but didn't get the shipment in and had no idea when they would. So mad I recorded an angry rant in the parking lot. Don't watch if you're sensitive to bad language.
