I'm almost 72, and started learning guitar about 5 years ago after I retired to help ward off the old timers diseases, and am having a blast doing it! Yeah, there have been some frustrating times (learning the dreaded F barre chord for example :)) and some other chords I can't finger because I don't have what I call "guitar hands, " but what I HAVE learned has given me, and some (younger)friends that also play guitar, a great time, especially playing some of my favorite Beatles tunes! Thank you for singing with the notes. Most guitar teachers just teach the notes and play through quickly....but as a beginner I don’t understand bars or timing very well. BUT, I do know how to sing the song so that helps immensely with feeling the timing....but seeing the teacher sing along is crucial for me right now.
