As someone from Iraq, my heart will always be with Indonesia especially because of 2007 Asian Cup Final when Iraq defeated Saudi Arabia in the final, coming from a war so we didn’t have many traveling fans in the final but the people of Indonesia supported Iraq like it was their team and celebrated the goal with us and the atmosphere was amazing in the final, I also loved their games in that tournament please guys watch their highlights vs Korea, Bahrain, and Saudi! you will enjoy their games from that Asian Cup 2007

There's no denying that Chinese supporters in the stadium had a big impact to the result. Even an Indonesian like me is very impressed. They deserve this win 100%, and props to the referee for being fair and unbiased

Respect for China. They were often underestimated, criticized by their own supporters, and even had to travel in economy class as part of their punishment, yet they endured everything. Truly, behind hardship comes ease. Congratulations to China. And for Indonesia 😢😢😢, rise stronger again.

For outside Indonesian viewers, here's the thing. Y'all always see Indonesians getting outrage when Indonesia gets bad results, complaining about referee, and so on. The thing is, even when Indonesia loses, IF referee gives fair decisions, the opponents don't always waste time with always strolling on the ground, We WILL always respect it. And here's one of the example when WE PLAYED BAD. First with very QUESTIONABLE Starting Line up from Shin Tae Yong. And then the tactical game plan from the team in the first half. WHY the coach STY instructed Mees Hilgers (our right sided CB) to always play HIGHER UP THE PITCH? It ultimately COSTS US the Second goal, look at how OPEN our defensive line. Our tactical and chemistry in the first half was SHOCKING. And lastly, in the second half, Why we DON'T BRING ANOTHER ATTACKER when its obvious that China defended for their life? FRUSTRATING WINDOW. Maybe the coach and the players still thinking about that CONTROVERSIAL Bahrain game. BOUNCE BACK NEXT MONTH INDONESIA!

I'm Japanese. It was really difficult game for Japan. We lacked quality and Aussie defence was really solid. We can't win every game. Onto the next one.

Yeah, China deserved that win. Shin Tae Yong tried to start the game with experimental composition and it backfired really hard, and credits to China because they exploited that fact really REALLY well in the first half.

Hey bro, I’m Indonesia, and yeah, it’s tough to see Indonesia lose to China, but hey, it’s just a game, it happens.

You know what? A lot of Indonesian fans can't to keep their expectations in check. Many Garuda fans aren’t ready to accept defeat, which means they’re not ready for victory either. You can really see it when our team wins or gets a draw against higher-ranked teams, they react like we’re unbeatable or something. They hype up the players way too much, but when we lose, they start pointing fingers everywhere. They’ll blame the ref, the players, the coach. Some even ask coach STY to step down. They should just appreciate how far we've come. they forget all the hard work just because we lost last night. It’s such a bad mindset!

If we want the team to grow, everyone needs to be on the same page, including the fans!

Korea produce young skilled players despite the corruption in their FA. Korea is underrated right now because they hire a new manager but they have alot of young players who are hungry to prove themselves.

For the Indonesia team, this was definitely a lineup fault, Shin Tae-yong has a habit of experimenting despite the importance of points in matches and this definitely calls for evaluation, still one bad game doesn't tell the story for Shin Tae-yong or Indonesia national team and this doesn't call for a sacking, Shin Tae-yong already fulfilled the target given by the PSSI by qualifying for the R3. And despite the rocky roads ahead, there's still hope in the Home matches in the Bung Karno stadium.

For the Indonesian netizens, this was a much needed humbling. Despite being Indonesian myself, they were overproud after receiving "favorable" results drawing against Australia and Saudi Arabia. Dont get me wrong, it is a massive result for debutants like Indonesia in the R3, but its still far from enough, you can be proud and not be arrogant to other national teams who are also giving their all for their badge (Ahmed Al-Kaf controversy aside).
And for the love of God, watch your language, the players and coaching staff have given their 120% to represent you. They dont deserve any of the abuse you dish out just because you're so glory hungry

Congratulations for China for their first win and 3 massive points! 🇮🇩🤝🇨🇳
