I found it easier to layer the vocal, then make it unique, move it to a new mixer track, apply delay to it, and then sidechain it with the original vocal

I think you also know It can be done with the limiter too but with no automation which is much better than creating automation.
I mean the sidechaining stuff like when the vocal hit the threshold then the delay is off and gets feedback where vocals are silent.
U know what i mean.

Yo I'm doing exactly what you do but the delay doesnt activate I always have to re record it. I have my vocals on a insert(insert 5) I have delay on insert 6, I connect them with the wire nobs on the bottom, but the delay doesnt turn on. The delay dry is off too idk why I wont work. I'm using delay 3 too
