This was made in [barely] a week. They were rushing to get this thing out as soon as they could, just to show some abilities and customization options.
Now, the ue4 elemental demo took quite a long time to make and it was made by a dedicated team, so kudos to Phosphor for making this possible in such a short time.

I agree with you on the Luminous part, all we have seen is the tech demo, seeing as the transition to Luminous still hasn´t been made for FFXV, but we´ve already seen gameplay from the Fox Engine, and it´s capable of rendering very good graphics and night day cicles with realistic weather in a huge open world, MGS5, so I can say that appears to be a very good one.
