A few things worth mentioning, here would have been 2 red cards in the game, Madrid played, 4-2-1-3 and with 3 upfront, they were often out of play as the game progressed with Barcelona's pivot and Pedri taking the play forward. What that meant is Madrid resorting to strategy 2: foul players on the run and Camavinga was given a life by ref without 2nd yellow card.

Carlo got most of his strategy right, however, it's the coordination of barca players as many are academy graduates, they knew how to cover the ground with Madrid's long ball-while barca played a high line. On two occasions mbappe was able to dribble past and scored in one and got caught in turf another one. This shows their principle on thriving at back with wider CBs. How this helps Lamine? When the players are wide, this make the opponents run wider too. It helps the pivot to make a central position available for further passes. As a teen Lamine possess enough pace and bright acumen to know when to drop for those receiving passes and make a forwards run with Madrid in splits. Messi did it with ease and we are sure to see more from Lamine.

Raphina's simultaneous run on the left side, helped the course as Madrid missed services of tenacious carvahal and Carlo was too reliant on the brilliances of numb Jude, recovering ball from Vini instead of making forward run, only to be caught with 2 defenders at the by line and kylian trying world Cup heroics on a few occasions.
