Pixel Art Timelapse: Sketch to Digital

I've been wanting to try this for a while. I thought it would be interesting to show the brainstorming process before I open up Aseprite.

At first I was going for a kangaroo/cat hybrid, called a Cataroo. But when I started putting it together in aseprite I thought it looked more like a dinosaur, so now I'm calling it a VelociCator.
