Honestly, he doesn't need you if he can become the next you, fighting you would help jump start it. Him having 35 pounds on you is a better reason for wanting heavily compensated. You don't want to go down as the possible greatest fighter, when you could silence all of the doubt just by beating him. What if you become the only man to defeat Tom & he goes on to still beat everyone else. You have more to gain than you realize if that happens.
