I’ve had this car in storage for quite some time and recently took it out of storage and started to drive it around.

I realized that I haven’t really done any videos where I go through this car and talk about it so I decided today is the day.

456 is a simple and unadorned design and better for being so. Later Ferraris are trendy and look OK new but age badly. 456 and 599 are my favorites.

Beautiful car. It was the car of my dreams as a 10 year old and I had the Bburago 1/18th scale model of it. My brother's boss bought one new then c. 1998 and oddly I didn't like it as much in real life. That said, it has grown on me again and I'm in awe of yours!

Lovely car.
Just a little info. Brunei is NOT in the Middle East. It's in SouthEast Asia near Malaysia. The Sultan did have a lot of 456 of many customized variants. All in right hand drive form 😊
I love the looks and feel of your car. You're a lucky man!

Wow. Forgot about these. I was looking at recent 355 and 550 Maranello. Beautiful cars. Miss those 90's look pop ups the low slung doors and bigger windows. 1st gen Nsx is also my favorite.

I absolutely love these 456 GTA's because of their looks and rarity. BUT... it has to be said that Ferrari quality is a complete joke. This car was a quarter of a million dollars when new, and there are so many issues wrong with this example it's not even funny. For starters...how often do you think those headlight doors were opened and closed over the life of this car???? Maybe 100??? Maybe 250??? And the motors have to rebuilt because they are worn out??? Are you freaking kidding me?? There's ZERO excuse for that. None. And then windows that won't align properly??? Really??? I 1962 Ford Falcon has better door sealing qualities than this Ferrari with aluminum pins in the scissor mechanicisms that can't take normal wear of the windows going up and down over a brief amount of tiime??? It's not like this car was a daily driver or anything. You can keep this thing.

The 1995 Porsche 928 GT was the real competitor for this car. Of course, that was the last year it was produced, and it had only 345 hp. But it still kicked ass, and was definitely cooler looking.
