I am absolutely done with modpacks. it takes a single mod to break the entire game, and takes forever to debug which one is the cause. Its a waste of time to make your own. I had spent a lot of time playing in a world, and out of nowhere I generated certain chunks that caused the game to crash. I have no way to figure out what is causing it and my modback is basically broken. I'm so fucking done.

Update: I’m defiantly not done and I think I have figured out most of the bugs. Used Spark to monitor tps problems, used chat GPT to understand crash logs. And reasonably work through understanding which mods conflict with one another, for example two end island generation mods conflicting. It’s been fun learning how to fix all this. I now have a bunch of mods and the game is playable.
