I could care less about jumping, (except for the old delayed axels, my favorite that will never happen) I love these footwork moves, rockers, choctaws, mohawks twizzles etc. All I really want to do is dance across the ice with music from my cell phone.

Great explanation! As an adult ice dancer, I love watching people do choctaws - I think they look very elegant! So far the only one I can do is the "fake" choctaw: the BI-FO open choctaw done for spin entries or in power three-turns.

- 3 turn : same foot, change of edge
- mohawk : change of foot same edge
- choctaw : change of foot, change of edge

The rumba choctaws are actually really hard, I had a hell of a time learning them. My coach had to hold my front arm and pull me left and right, took a few days to get it. Now I can do them sort of ok, but I lose speed completely after just 2 forward/backward choctaws, so it's still a long ways to go!

Hi Lloyd, great would you be able to do another of the common competition ones, but in more detail, with of close ups and slow-mo of the edge change/foot placement and the body lean with the correct arm position...(don’t want much do I 😉). I’ve just started learning the back outside.
