Coldplay – Glastonbury The Scientist Vinyl 2016

Durante una entrevista para la revista 'The Rolling Stones' el vocalista y compositor de la banda confesó que la canción fue fuertemente inspirada en George Harrison, el ex-Beatle había compuesto la canción que sirvió de inspiración para Coldplay años atrás.
'Isn't it a Pity' fue uno de los éxitos de Harrison que durante una noche solitaria en Liverpool ayudó a Chris Martin a encontrar todas las piezas que necesitaba no solo para el sencillo sino para el álbum completo, en la entrevista cuenta que esa noche encontró un piano desafinado y quiso practicar dicho tema, sin embargo entre notas pudo llegar a la composición final de 'The Scientist' y pidió que lo grabaran para llevar la muestra a un estudio y comenzar a componer el resto del álbum.
