It actually makes me so angry how the operator almost sounds annoyed and angry no one’s answering when she says hello right after gun shots were fired

The way she said “I have nothing but gunshots” in such a flippant way….

I got sent here from a YouTuber named Kendall Rae during her video on this case and wtf? It's so upsetting that the operator just doesn't seem to care and nothing is done. Clearly something is wrong.
I had the cops come to my house when I was a kid cuz we were dumb and called them and almost immediately hung up. Why would they not go for this call when clearly something is wrong?

And the operator didn’t report this call AT ALL because she thought it was out of their jurisdiction. She didn’t say anything and she knew something bad happened

You could tell the voice for that split second was desperate and scared and she still had the gall to not report it?!

This 911 operator Infuriates me. She sounds so rude like someone is wasting her time. You hear all those gunshots and even say she hears them and does nothing?! She should not be able to work as a 911 operator. How many times has this happened and she didn't report it?!

This dispatcher failed to do her job, according to reports she never reported the gunshots to her superviser until about a week later - had she done so they would have found his body earlier.

I got nothing but gunshots somebody’s calling you 911 for help and she’s acting surprise or dismissive hearing gunshots from a call from someone calling 911 unbelievable she should’ve been more than fired she should’ve went to jail for negligent

So many times 911 operators seem like they’re not doing anything… I don’t understand why if they know they’re being recorded they aren’t showing us that they are doing their due diligence.Compelling article in today’s LA Times drove me to this YouTube video.

The fact that is operated was not held accountable for her lazy actions astounds me.. but then again... law enforcement and such do not do their job.. so no surprise

The first shot was fired and it startled him. He then said, “Shara!” to which she replied, “what?” I never heard her say anything else.

At the first gun shot I would’ve immediately started tracking the call!

The operator heard gun shots, KNEW someone was hurt or possibly dead. And chose to do nothing about it. This person is neglecting her duty.

How in the word they find him several days later after those gun shots was heard they should have ping his cell phone within hours. He should not have been there dead in the woods for several days where he was found at 57 pounds from 225 pounds. 911 dispatch dropped the ball on this one smh

I don’t think the 911 operator even heard the words. It seems they were said at the exact moment during a call transfer (to another jurisdiction) when one operator was no longer fully connected and the other hadn’t picked up yet. Regardless, just on the basis of the numerous gunshots she should’ve notified a supervisor.

Awe, my heart goes out to the family. That's so sad, especially since this 911 call was not described as "important" to the dispatch supervisors. In fact, this call wasn't mentioned until a week or so later which resulted in tracing the call and finding his body! I would think gunshots would be an automatic trace and a high priority! Just mind blowing.

I need to stop watching things that infuriate me and ruin my entire day. Rest in peace to this man. 34 is no age at all.
