They do help you if you are in a repair shop that has a high number of phones to repair. You can set a phone in there and it will remove the back/screen without risk of breaking, while you work on other repairs.

Not a tool for everyone definitely but it does have its use cases for certain types of businesses

Well that Samsung octa is very easy, to open Samsungs, iPhone and that, I used to use it daily. Id personally chose the octa over one you prefer.

Aod jig works well, would throw a phone in and do something else for a few minutes while waiting, you can change so many settings on it to make it faster, even the opening speed. Had someone warm up some food on it

I got one of these for $5, the Sunshine SS-601G. It works great, and no, you don't need a hot air gun for it. Just apply some 99.9% isopropanol to the lower edges, and that's it—the device does the rest on its own.

My personal favorite is the Refox rs50
It’s premium, well built and carries other functions as well.
Only paid $110 and it’s been the best investment in my tech carrier
