Jurassic World Rebirth has announced that all the dinosaurs could be dead in our world.... Does this mean that our favourite dinosaurs are also dead?!

Watch more TheGamingBeaver:

Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

Actually, the Camp Cretaceous yacht could very well have been the first boat the mosasaur encountered. Probably hadn’t figured out they weren’t edible yet. Although, that would mean the mosa is willing to hunt large prey, which makes it strange that it doesn’t target whales.

I will say, being a Pokemon fan, it’s nice to see gaming news reporters calling out some obvious fake info during their real info dumps. Lately it’s been more reporting on the fake info as though it was credible leaks

14:42 James, you DO know there were bigger marine reptiles right? A Shonisaurus/Shastasaurus absolutely dwarfs any discovered plesiosaur and has the best chance to capsize a boat, not including the oversized Mosasaurus. EDIT: Just wanted to edit this in, the only Plesiosaur even capable of capsizing a boat is a plesiosaur called Aristonectes, but then again. It’s only as big as a small Orca.

I don't think it's necessarily that a large amount of dinosaurs died. It's probably just that most of the dinosaurs have migrated and tend to stay close to the equator or at least in warmer environments. This makes sense as even the largest feathered dinosaur in canon is the Therizinosaurus which lived in a desert (barre any discoveries showing Therizinosaurus either didn't have feathers or had few). The Quetz in canon is very large in dimensions but I doubt it weighed over a ton. It could probably survive in many different environments.

Sorna had at least two different biomes, but it likely didn't have crazy temperature variation outside of extreme weather conditions. The five deaths seemed to attract a lot of severe storms which means they lie in the path of air currents. All of this to say, that I think the ingen clones left behind on sorna or nublar should be used to variation in weather and environment, especially the later generations of offspring.

It could be possible that, though unplanned, Dominion could have been showing a mass migration taking place. A couple of years into different climates, varying conditions, and a host of food sources could have helped dinosaurs survive long enough to get to an environment that actually suits them. The quetz and pteras at the end of dominion seemed to be partaking in a mixed species migration to an undisclosed location. The mosa appears to be able to work with (humpback?) whales, possibly for food or perhaps for protection from whale hunters.

All this to say, I hope we get to see the effects dinosaurs have had on the planet before retreating to places better suited for survival. I wouldn't be upset if the new trilogy moved on and like many are saying, is a soft re-sequel so to speak, but there were some aspects from the previous trilogy I would like to see continued.

If Blue's lifespan is anything like the real velociraptor's lifespan (15-20 years) and she was born in 2012. Meaning that she will die in 2032, Rexy should already be dead since a real T.rex's lifespan is 30 years and she's almost 40.
