The tragedy during The Who's concert on December 3, 1979, at Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati, Ohio, resulted in a crowd disaster. The incident occurred when a rush of concert-goers gathered outside the entry doors, leading to the unfortunate deaths of 11 individuals. Initially, a radio station had communicated that General Admission ticket holders would be allowed in at 3:00 p.m., prompting a significant crowd by 5:00 p.m. Despite the expectation of simultaneous door openings, only a pair of doors at the main entrance's far right were eventually opened. As people entered through these doors, others waiting at different entrances began pushing forward, causing a surge that led to trampling and serious injuries. Regrettably, eleven people lost their lives due to asphyxiation amid the chaotic crowd.

I begged my mom to let me go to a KISS concert at the age of 14 on December 1st, 1979... The Dynasty Tour! She admittedly said "NO!" Two days later this happens... I remember hearing it on the news.

Oh SHIT! I didn't have any idea... I'll never listen to them the same again. I wish I didn't even learn this...
