This is a genuine curiosity and by no means do I intend to offend or antagonize anyone...but what problems does a christian has with abortion. Wouldn't the potential life be allowed into heaven without having to risk living and potentially not getting in? Doesn't the bible give explicit directions on how to perform a curse induced miscarriage i.e. abortion? I guess my question is what justification you have for taking the stance that you do. If your decision isnt founded on religious reasoning, whether you follow that type of thing or not, and its instead because you see it as murder, do you also condemn the death penalty? Or if its specifically murder of an innocent life that concerns you, do you similarly condemn the military bombings that lead to the same outcome? Other than a religious foundation, what reason do you have for being against a womans right to choose to have an abortion? I dont anticipate to receive serious cosideration in the responce to my comments and questions, but nevertheless I'm interested to see the troll to fundamentalist ratio or more optimistically the potentially enlightening perspectives that follow.

If a woman's pregnancy is none of a man's business, men shouldn't be expected to support the child the woman decides to have.

Let me tell you a story . A woman gets pregnant but she realizes that her birth control did not work . Do you think she should have an abortion? If you said no, I agree with you. First it is never ok to have an abortion..so what if your birth control didn't work it is never ok to kill your baby just because you weren't ready to have children. Even if you never wanted children. It is never that innocent child's fault. And its not the end of the world if you get pregnant . Since it's obvious you don't want a child you have the option to give that baby to a couple who want children and can't conceive on their own. So have your baby and place that baby with a family who will love it who will thank God for a baby and will be grateful for this baby.. Secondly our Lord Jesus Christ put this baby in your womb for a reason and do you or does all of the Senate realize that God gave this baby life for a reason. That's right! Even before you even conceived this baby he had a life long plan for this child. You may not have wanted this baby but our father in heaven wanted him or her for God's own purpose. This poor baby had no choice 😔 this baby had no decision whether to be here or not. I can tell you your baby is waiting to see it's mommy he or she has been hearing all this time only to realize he or she won't get to. What I'm going to say next is going to be pretty terrible for mother's who abort their baby .and that one of several ways they perform the abortions. First one minute your baby is kicking and moving and sucking it's thumb, smiling, and waiting to meet mommy. And the next minute something scarey is after them and no matter what the do they can't get away from it. Then all the sudden severe pain overcomes them because something has torn it's legs off, then something tears.its arms off and then not knowing what's going to happen next something else comes into the place they thought was safe this thing comes in and grabs the baby's head and crushes it completely killing it! Then sucked out . So if you can do this to your innocent baby I can only pray you have your tubes tied so this won't happen again to another of your babies. Thank you, lisa

I want to be the only positive commenter on here, so I am so happy we have the conformation process that lets all of us hear both sides of a debate, though I am a bit sad it is likely to be voted on along party lines. I still find this very interesting. keep smiling, life is good. and either way it is unlikely that a new justice will affect our lives directly.
