FND is best name because it recognizes it’s a disorder. My diagnosis wound up being wrong, but I’m still interested in it. Was diagnosed with progressive myoclonic epilepsy in ‘92 and new doc changed to FMD based on blood tests being normal!! Neurologist decided to ween me off my meds, including Keppra, during week long Video EEG. First day completely off of Keppra had cortical frontal lobe tonic clonic seizure and put back on meds. Neurologist never got back to me.

The epilepsy doctor found 6 frontal lobe seizures, based on EEG but I was on meds so weren’t tonic clonic.

I need help finding a specialist in my state Alabama or close that can help with this disorder that I have been suffering with since 2016
