I’m from gen z and I absolutely adore this style. There is so much color and happiness. I’m not into the boring grey walls with the plain white blankets and plain white curtains. This shows so much class and even though there are many colors they all blend together smoothly. I’ve even decorated my room this way!

Your bedroom makes me want to lie there eating a bowl of cherries at 9am, my manicured poodles lying beside me whilst I chat on an old fashioned landline phone to friends who are still up from the night before and can share wild tales of nocturnal adventures and crack-o-dawn breaking news gossip with me. I will be virtuous in my vintage bed jacket, hot rollers, opalescent toenail polish and my bowl of cherry pips. I love 'set piece' rooms like this, what fun! Thank you for sharing.

You have done such a wonderful on decorating for the 1950s. Maybe we could all benefit from choosing an era to set up at least one room in our house. It just feels so warm, peaceful & inviting.

Fabulous! I was a child of the 60s but there were so many of these elements in our home. I’m crazy about chenille bed spreads. It’s great to know there are folks out there who still like all of this. Such a cozy room! Thanks for sharing this with everyone!!

Larwence Welk. I would sit with granny and watch Larwence Welk every week. I can still hear her humming. She actually went to California and went to his show and danced with him. I have the picture. Oh how I miss my sweet sweet granny. This was great.

Every minute detail in your entire house is swoon worthy. Everything looks as though it was meticulously planned and that so much love was put into it. From the floors to the paint colors to the amazing vintage finds, this is absolute perfection. So lovely.
