They removed that as they “viewed it as a bug” :/ I swore they get rid of the nice “bugs” and we only lose cool “features” instead of adding anything they get rid of one of the most useful “bug” but it was a feature to all of us

They actually removed this *feature* in a recent update. Claiming it was a bug.. I have a theory on why but who really knows.. Either way this *feature* has been in the game for literally as long as I can remember. It was meant to give you a chance to survive in the off chance you spawn in lava or something. More so on severs where you could log out, log back in a week later and the terrain be completely different from people building or maybe even trying to trap you etc.

It’s something new in 1.21.4, before that you did have 3 seconds of immunity. I think the reason being is so Hardcore players won’t cheat death as easily.

They recently removed spawn immunity for single player worlds in some of the newest snapshots/1.21.4, but in multiplayer it’s still there i believe. My memory could be serving me wrong on the multiplayer thing though

In the minecraft wiki, they had "spawn immunity" as a bug, so in kne of the recent updates they removed it

They removed as a “bug” fix, so now if you’re falling in a world and you try to leave to avoid dying, you still die anyways

They removed it, because you could just log out, and back in for like infinity imunity, so they just deleted it
