This is the time to hold positions in stocks with great balance sheets. Companies that fit the bill here, are NVDA, AVGO, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL ETC. I currently hold NVDA, AMZN, and AVGO. Outside that, I have long positions in PLTR, CRWD, and PANW. MU is one that I’ve been in and out of and plan to get back into soon. I also like utilities as alternative AI plays since companies are signing deals to directly power data centers. I hold NEE, SO, and VST because they do nuclear, wind, solar, natural gas, hydroelectric etc. I even have positions in midstream companies EPD, WES, and ET for this reason.

Very good video. I watched some live testing of o1 when it was dropped last week and strawberry 🍓 is amazing. It’s supposed on the level of a a doctoral student now on physics, chemistry, biology, etc. The next model is leaked to be named Orion to be released “this winter”.

2. Strawberry new test-time compute paradigm
3. Businesses beginning to invest in clusters of their own

Wouldnt this be better for AMD that put more of their resources in inference than NVDA that has been more on the Learning side? Especially if this is a new phase of LLM's where far more emphasis is in during the inference which seem to make sense. As time goes along, we spend less time learning and it stagnates with less return which i think we are seeing, while the application of knowledge is almost limitless and where most of the leverage on Intelligence is.

I'm curious why you believe memory now has more of a role here. Doing chain of thought like for o1 seems to me to be more GPU intensive, with maybe minor increase in memory usage. What are you seeing for this?
