I created my own little world, a bedroom studio, where I taught myself music production. Then, recently, I opened a humble recording studio with live event venue. Who I am, a career public school music teacher, is fighting with who I want to become, a music producer and live event planner. The problem is a lack of women in music production. The other problem is a lack of places to socialize that are alcohol free. My projects are creating live monthly events for the community. So far, an 80s Rewind, a Disco Party and a 1920 Swing Dance Event. I'm still in the sucking phase but I know over time I will create something the community will enjoy and it won't involve pouring money down our mouths. (I'm in Wisconsin and was born in the drunkest county in Wisconsin) Thank you Dan Koe. You are changing a life.

29:05 This is relatable and actionable. Documenting your life could be the unlock to all the things that DK is always talking about. It's basically a public diary, and it's a good way to practice life. It's a project that allows you to understand yourself and in doing so...learn basic leadership and entrepreneurial skills. It's also good marketing and has long term potential for sales. Diary content is endless so you'll never run out. Having said all that...obviously some people are better than others at writing diaries that people would like to read. That's a bottleneck. In the end, all you can do is try. Take your shot. What's the worst that could happen. We all die eventually.
