WOW Ashley that was so informative, never really looked at the layers, so useful, sometimes you send everything over to your machine when you only want to use part of your design, maybe to add to a different project, saves also having to alter your original design this would be so useful to use the hide function. Thank you for all your hard work, I'm sure we all appreciate it. X

Excellent as usual, thank you. A couple of other points about layers. You can click and drag the shapes up or down to bring forward or send back. There are also options at the bottom to Duplicate, Delete and Group. You can select more than one shape using the shift or control keys. If you Group items you can then also rename the Group.

I always thought You should be able to name them because I do happen to do a lot of things with all kinds of different names in it and stuff and you’re right you can’t read them on there and I have a problem with my eyesight anyway and I am so glad I saw this video it will make things tons easier for me thank you for everything you do

Did you know Ashley, in Layers you can order wich layers are cut first too, so if you have a complicated design, you can get the machine to cut that out first, then the shape as the last bit to cut out, so it doesn't make the card stock move off your mat, as normally it cuts the outside shape first, then the intricate stuff next?
