It’s crazy how much publicity and controversy the video and subsequent ban of the Pepsi commercial caused back in 1989. I didn’t even KNOW what controversy meant until Madonna’s Like A Prayer video/single was released. Both of them were huge successes on MTV and the charts. I was a fan for life after this.

This commercial was probably the best Pepsi ad ever, Pepsi definitely saw the Value in Madonna, after the commercial was pulled from the air.

I remember that I was stunned by the Madonna look here. I don't even remember the commercial but the Madonna image here stuck on my mind all my childhood. Watching this transports me to those days with a time machine. It's like therapy.
