I think the CBA should cut and lower the the max of a single player in order to open up multiple max players with a new max structure. This will create an opportunity to develop 4-5 stars (max players) per team and if they do failed and end up paying 2 bust max players then it doesnt really hurt the team that much. Look at what happen to the Stephen-Klay-Durant-Green anomally. This way, the money is spread out and gives more opportunity to pay players max that really delivers. Make it the new norm by doing lesser max in order to retain and collect multiple stars. This will improve the quality and competitiveness of each team
