Today I show you how to make this Ipad / Tablet stand. Super easy to make and you only need a couple of tools. You can make this out of any hardwood. I used Oak and Meranti for mine.

My stand is 250mm wide and 400mm high. The shelf sits 60mm from the bottom and is at a 25 degree angle.

Or even a cookbook stand for the kitchen, I think people could find a lot of uses for such a creation. The idea might be developed with some removable feet rather than fixed feet, where you could change from portrait to landscape. The part where you ipad rests could just slot into the feet, with multiple cutouts/ridges for varied angles and front edge of the feet could double as a rest for the ipad, so removing the need for the additional ledge. A great little project especially if you have some offcuts lying around and need to put them to some good use which is why I am always shocked to see when people dislike a video....like they could do better! lol.
