A mini facelift is performed usually when people have some early jowling that can be addressed through a smaller incision. That incision is usually made in the front of the ear and the skin is lifted down to the area of the skin laxity or excess fat. In general these are for patients who otherwise do not need any other procedure such as improvement of their neck.
