This student has shown true courage over there by correcting the teacher on spot. His point is absolutely valid. The class teacher needed this class for himself. it’s a shame that this young man has to go through this in front of the entire class.

This boy is absolutely correct. I've myself seen a lot of Muslims being hated and talked on for something they didn't even do. It makes me so sick of the people who do such nasty things.
As a professor, he should have never done this, hence again proved that being educated and literate is way different. My heart goes out for those who suffer such mass generalisation behind the lens. And sadly on social media you can actually see a lot of youth supporting such acts in the name of religion which is absolutely bullshit.
People were divided into religions for unity. At the end of the day we all are human beings, religion and all are third world things. Peace and harmony matters the most.

Respect for the guy. We need to understand that even elders can't demean us, be it parents or teachers. Noone can't disrespect you. These actions should be normalised and every Indian student should be brave enough to take stand against anything wrong happening around them.

For a professor who is teaching in a class, all students should be equal, the way of handling can be strict sometimes but not by criticizing about religion, name or caste ...this is totally wrong, the boy is so brave because in college sometimes we think if we will reply( small debate) to the prof then it's effect may be show in our marks, even though we are right but it can hurt his/her ego😬 !!!

Yes. Kudos to this boy. From our end let us resolve to stand up for those at the receiving end of insensitive behavior. Let us hold the hand, give reassurances and avow support to Muslims who talk to us expressing their fears and sorrow. I am making the effort to do so. As persons of privilege it is our duty, I believe so.
