WOW Classic Warrior Best in slot PVP guide for Phase 5 - in this guide I will go through the BIS set for non-rankers and rankers (Rank 14).
I will go through each set and mention alternative options for you to use so that you can make the best out of the items you currently have!
Last but not least I will of course compare the two sets against each other, the time of ranker gear being overpowered is soon over!

Thanks so much for making this video. As someone who mained warrior in original vanilla this actually brought back a ton of emotions! I've stayed completely away from new-vanilla, but ugh, this vid REALLY made me want to get that set I had put together right before BC released when we were rockin asskandy and crushing AQ 40 for that Dark Edge of Insanity! With a pocket healer randos were ridiculous :)

Could you show me where your source is that says +defense skill does anything in pvp? Because I was under the impression it did absolutely nothing in pvp. I’ll look for a source on that later and reply with it.

I’m a r14 warrior and I disagree, I’m goin to use three pieces from the conquerer set, that is the head shoulder and chest for the extra stat and defense, plz check it out this way cuz it’s the best combo even better than the two sets u were comparing between. Rage from Shazzrah here btw. Horde

Thoughts on Blackhand's Breath vs HOJ? The lucky burst of HOJ is always nice, but a flat 2% increase in Crit is great too. It's a tough one.

Another excellent video! I am subbed and look forward to more content! As someone who likes to make vids myself I really appreciate the work you put into these.

I would like to better understand your value preference since it seems you place highest priority on stam vs crit (reasoning for this?). I think that makes sense in a balanced sort of well rounded playstyle where you anticipate playing soloing often, however I tend to prefer a more crit (agi)/dmg focused build leaning on my team support (lucky to have amazing healers) to allow me to focus on killing.
I am not totally sacrificing my toughness (dodge is good tho!), but I can with AQ gear achieve 35% crt chance in zerker+kings (with axe spec) while still maintaining just over 5.3k hp(base). There isn't really a "most efficient" gear set I think, more like one that caters to the strengths you wish to focus on. For me, I guess I just like massive damage and am willing to sacrifice a bit of toughness to get it.

The only "gripe" I have would be BRE. I dont think BRE is anywhere close to as good as DEOI. BRE has a chance to do more dmg due to proc, but that is total RNG and you will MOSTLY not have the proc, so your base dmg capability will MOSTLY be lower than something like Ashkandi or DEOI. BRE has the highest POTENTIAL damage if you can get all the procs and are able to do your damage in the time the proc is active. However DEOI not only has incredible stats, top end, and looks (this does matter to some) but you essentially get to have BOTH AXE AND MACE SPEC!!! this alone is "insane" 3 second stun is 2 GCD...and you get the AXE spec crit! Normally Sword Spec alone dominates either axe or mace spec, however you effectively have both with DEOI and that is WAY better than just sword spec imo (its like 5 extra talent points built in!).

Did you consider Marshal gear with Conqueror shoulder, chest and helm? That way you can maximize stamina, getting only the useful set bonus from T2.5 and keeping the intercept set bonus from Marshal gear. Even considering the 40 AP set bonus loss you end up with slightly more AP, slightly less crit while gaining 16 defense rating. Pretty good video 'tho.

Amazing guide! Considering me being a r14 orc warrior. Ive been contemplating whether or not “Dark Edge of Insanity” is something i would be going for because of the fear(and axe crit spec). Definitely going for the side pieces you listed for ranking set though! Just wanted to see what your thoughts were on that. R14 2h? Or dark edge of insanity?

I noticed Master Dragonslayer's Medallion was not on neck options. It has agility a lot of Stam. And +7 defense which is pretty good. Is not a option to you because it not worth it picking it over Dragonslayer ring?

u want head/shoulder/chest t2, 5 and boots/legs/gloves r12, that's bis phase 5 not your gear. R12 stats are sligthly better but mainly the 2 and 3 part set is what makes it bis. And DEOI is just bis phase 5, mainly cus of the stun but also the simple overal dps

How about a guide for BiS PVE DPS combination if you have rank 14 gear? Since Epic gear 2 set is only stamina instead of AP, does Raid gear finally surpasses Rank 13 gear?

so i was thinking im curretly rank 11 atm and my server is a rly good pvp server! the cap is really low and not many breakers.. so i was thinking it is worth it for me to go all the way to rank 14 or should i stop? is it worth it for AQ or am i gonna replace all of it in AQ?

Wouldnt dragons breath hand cannon or the aq20 bow be also pretty good? Dragons Breath doesnt have much less crit than blaster, has more stamina and also provides dodge?
