The singer of this song died last November. Love her… our songbird!

If you feel a connection to the girl in the middle, that’s the one-and-only Stevie Nicks. She’s the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: once for being a member of Fleetwood Mac and then for her solo career. Look her up. You won’t be disappointed.

RIP Christy McVie. She leads as the singer for this song (splits between her and Stevie Nicks). She played so many roles: co-lead singer, song writer, keyboardist and even peace maker. Such a great talent and soul.

They were huge in the 70’s and 80’s. You couldn’t spin through a radio dial in America without hearing one of their songs.

5 band members! One of the most durable bands ever who continued on together(most of the time) despite heartache, drug use by some and affairs within the band. They stood the test of time!

Christine McVie also wrote many of their best songs.

Great reaction to an underappreciated song by this group. Lead singer, the late Christine McVie, was truly the secret weapon of Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac had several lineups over the years, starting in the 60s. This lineup was their most successful, which started in 1975. Mick Fleetwood(drums), John McVie(Bass), Stevie Nicks(vocals), Christine McVie(keyboards & vocals), and Lindsey Buckingham(guitar & vocals). So yes, they had three lead vocalists and they all harmonized perfectly! They all wrote great songs for the band. Christine McVie was married to John McVie for a few years, but divorced and still remained bandmates! Buckingham and Nicks were also a couple when they joined the band in 1975. Both couples broke up around the time they were recording the Rumours album, which was one of the top albums of the 1970s!

"the girl in the middle is getting Hocus pocus". My goodness, how could she be so spot on just a minute in?

There is SO much I could say about Fleetwood Mac, but there's not time. I will say (contrary to popular belief) that I always liked the sound of Christine McVie's voice over "The Diva" Stevie Nicks" voice. They were very influential and they ruled the airwaves in their day!

This was about two decades after their heyday. But literally you could grab any song off of their 1975 Rumors album, which is considered to be one of the greatest complete albums in rock history. Everything on it is just stunningly good.

I've loved them all my life, it's really cool to see people learn about them for the first time.

If you dig into them more, I think you will start to see how much their sound changed everything that came after it. Rumours is probably an all time top 5 album, across genres.

Take a look at “Tusk” by Fleetwood Mac feat the USC marching band! You will experience music on a whole other level with this one🙌🏼 and I love that you said the FABULOUS one and only Stevie Nicks reminded you of hocus pocus because that is totally her image! She’s the epitome of a dark glam rock and roll diva! My mom and I LIVE for Stevie♥️🙏🏼

Fleetwood Mac was originated in 1967 by drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie. In 1970, keyboardist and lead singer Christine Perfect joined the band and married John McVie soon after. Lead vocalist and lead guitarist Lindsey Buckingham was asked to join FM in 1974. He agreed on December 31, 1974 as long as they included his girlfriend, Stevie Nicks, a singer/songwriter. Despite not being able to read music, instead playing guitar and piano by ear, Stevie Nicks became the breakout star of the band with her youthful looks and witchy stage persona. She became the first female in history to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice (in 1998 as a member of FM and in 2019 as a solo artist). Sadly, Christine McVie passed away November 30, 2022 at the age of 79 after a brief illness. Her ex-husband John is 77. Mick Fleetwood is 75. Stevie is 74 and her ex Lindsey is 73.
