People forget Henry wasn’t off the couch, he had been actively coaching and training with high level fighters prior to his return. It’s the fact that he felt like he was doing well in training with these guys and that his fight IQ from coaching leveled up that led him to making a comeback. It was to the point that DJ thought Cejudo would win, and DJ usually ‘bets on black’ and has a bit of bias towards black fighters so that says alot

He wasn't washed up but definitely not the same Henry from before. A regular season semi regularly injured fighter still ontop of their game probably beats their returning self despite of potentially healed injuries
