This has got to be one of the best curries in the whole of Japan. Gourmet Curry Bon Gout in Shinjuku takes pride in sourcing their ingredients and cooking to perfection. Their special beef curry is, to put it simply, sublime. The roux is made with ten different spices and caramelized onions, cooked for two days until deep with flavor. They use high quality cuts of beef cheek - soft, juicy, tender - which you can choose up to a pound of if you’re feeling particularly hungry. If you feel like something other than beef, they have curry with freshly fried pork cutlet, and even curry bread to go!
