Training for Paris Olympics in midst of war in Ukraine

(2 Mar 2023) For Ukrainian athletes, the path to the 2024 Paris Olympics is clouded by war, anger and pain. Russian bombardments have wrecked training venues. Air raids disrupt training sessions. Athletes have lost family members and friends, or worry that they will.

I remember just few days ago I saw a report about Ukrainian kids taking their lessons in the basement because there is always a danger of russian missile attacks. And now this, athletes training for Olympics even though there's always a threat to their life. It cannot continue like this, we need to help as much as we can with our modern weapons and equipment, russians should go home!

The 1940 Olympics were canceled altogether.
I hope that 2024 will be held if Russia and Belarus are not allowed to PEACEFUL competitions.

These people are insecure every day 😭
And the Russians were allowed to participate in the Olympics. It's a shame and a complete injustice
