Excellent review, thank you Jim. You really touched all the spots so well. For those of you who don’t understand it you really do need a heated or temperature controlled ambient especially during winter months or when printing engineering resins. This is a great solution to get a simple enclosure that fits many many machines

i would love to have this but the price makes it hard. $94 and ill still have to buy the duct hose and exhaust fan myself. Hose might run 10-15 and fan might run $20-$50 depending on the quality you get. Going with the cheapest option the price will be $120 and for that price i can just get an enclosure that comes with all of that and its a full enclouser and not just a top

How good is it at insulating? Could I stick this in a garage that gets to 30F and have it maintain a warm temp? I doubt it, seems like I would likely need a heat source in addition.

Thanks for the great review! I'm having trouble finding an exact stat of the diameter on the back vent hole. Any chance you could provide that?

How big is the access hole for the suction?

Interesting.. but there is a reason why manufacturers only cover the upper part with the vat and not the whole machine. A printer, especially mid / large ones have cooling fan(s) to cool the light source and internals, and air needs to circulate in order for the cooling to work as they should. Probably less of an issue if you live somewhere cool, but in a temperate country, I wouldn't want to cover my entire printer for extended periods of time while it's running.

Love the review! This is a great idea especially in the winter when the room can get cold. One issue, your transition sound is quite irritating. Please keep up the good work!

Great video and product. I think this would be good for FDM printers as well. Do they make one for them? If not I think they would sell a bunch iof them. Thanks for the vid. Dan

Sold me the first 5 mins in.
Just ordered one with a flex plate too. Your code was nice to get 10% off the whole order.
I was wondering how big the vent hole in back is.
Thanks a ton!
